THOUSANDS of netizens on Facebook were “surprised” over the announcement of Fourth District Congressman Juan Pablo “Rimpy” Bondoc and Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda's alliance in time for the upcoming May 2019 midterm elections.

In an exclusive report of SunStar Pampanga, Bondoc and Pineda, shown flashing the thumbs up sign and shaking hands, are both descendants of Pampanga's prominent political families. On Sunday, the duo announced the forging of their alliance to residents of Minalin town at the Barangay Sta. Rita covered court.

For over a decade, both the Bondoc and Pineda families are known to have a “sour” relationship with each other.

While none from the two families have opposed each other for a particular position during elections, they have supported opposing candidates during local polls.

Nelson Alonzo, a Facebook user, commented that the happening is for the welfare of the people of Pampanga and that God is good.

Another Facebook user named Dong Bondoc Bamba said the gathering is for the betterment of Pampanga.

Based on the post's insights, a growing number of 1,197 engagements and 280 reactions and 120 shares exist and are continuing to increase.
