TWO suspected drug personalities were caught on Tuesday afternoon, October 9, in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Ronel Yu Domen and Joefren Elorta Pis-an yielded 65 grams of white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu worth P708,000, a Dangerous Drugs Board value, authorities said.
A .45 pistol and the suspects's vehicle were also seized during the drug bust carried out by Dumaguete City Police Station, Regional Special Operations Group-Central Visayas, Provincial Intelligence Branch-Special Operations Group and the Phippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The suspects will face complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Selling dangerous drugs is a non-bailable offense. (KAL)
