PRO-Davao director Chief Superintendent Marcelo Morales said that all police stations have already been furnished with the order.

Police authorities are now conducting strict security measures on checkpoint areas wherein intelligence monitoring and Police Community Relations and Driven Information in the community is being implemented.

They also made sure that the offices of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) are safe and secure during the duration of the filing of COCs.

Electoral Candidates must be secured so with the public and Comelec personnel,” Morales said.

They asked for the supporters of the candidates to remain calm and watchful so that the Comelec process will go on smoothly.

Meanwhile, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) is all ready for today's event at the Comelec office in Magsaysay Park.

“Sta. Ana Police Station has already deployed its men but we are willing to add coming from the City Mobile Group if there is a need for more policemen,” DCPO spokesperson Senior Inspector Ma. Theresita Plaza-Gaspan said.
