JSY Transport pounded Huminova Tigers, 94-77, while the Organic Solutions repulsed JSY Countertrade, 101-94, on Tuesday, October 10, in the Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade Inc. Inter-Company tournament at BTTHS Po Hang Gym.
The Transporters has a 45-41 advantage at the break behind Shinley Uy, Luigi Coo, Jappy Cuaycong and Edward Uy. RB Chua and Arvin Gustilo combined for 20 points in that stretch for the Tigers.
The third quarter saw Yan Yan Dy and Coo extending the lead to 64-52.
Chua and Gustilo combined for another 20 points in the payoff period but was not enough to counter Jappy Cuaycong’s four triples and Dy who added 11 markers to seal the victory for JSY Transport which now improved to 4-3. Huminova Tigers dropped to 3-3.
Meanwhile, after a 25-all standoff in the opening quarter, Organic Solutions outscored JSY Countertrade in the next quarters, 52-35, for a 77-60 advantage going to the final quarter.
Organic Solutions improved to 4-2.
