DTI opens 3 Negosyo Centers in Bukidnon

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has opened three Negosyo Centers in each of the three municipalities in Bukidnon, boosting the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the locality.

The DTI-Bukidnon, last September, has launched Negosyo Centers in the municipalities of Cabanglasan, Kibawe, and Libona.

This completes the province's target of five Negosyo Centers opened for 2018, according to DTI-Bukidnon.

At present, Bukidnon has 17 operational Negosyo Centers.

The establishment of Negosyo Centers is provided under the Republic Act 10644, or the Go Negosyo Act.

It provides the MSMEs the ease of doing business, and facilitates the access to grants and other forms of financial assistance and shared service facilities, among others.

Aside from these services, the Negosyo Center can also accept and facilitate business name registration applications.

For next year, DTI-Bukidnon is planning to launch five more centers to provide services covering the two cities and 20 municipalities in the province.
