DO YOU love fries? There’s this one fry place that I have been wanting to try for so long since Erwan Heusaff posted about it on his Instagram – PomPoms.
Before trying their fries, I first fell in love with their vintage aesthetics as they serve their fries in a paper cone! How cool is that?!
“Live the Fryland Lifestyle”
True to their slogan, PomPom’s really live to offer the best fried food of your dreams: fries and chicken poppers. They have a wide selection of powders and dips to choose from for your fries and chicken pops.
If you’re feeling extra, they also have a “Top of the Tops” menu that’s composed of – Fried Chicken Poutine, Chicken and Fries, Longsi Fries (Fries with longganisa bits topped with fried egg), and Pulled Pork Fries.
They also have soft serve for those fry lovers who loves a salty and sweet snack.
The Vibe
As what I have mentioned, I really love their vintage-retro vibe aesthetics in their stall with a hint of wittiness here and there. First is their cone sizes they have the Smallin’ (P99), Tallin’ (P129), and Ballin’ (P169).
I got their fries in Tallin’ size and also added Furikake Powder (P10) aka fancy seaweed to top it off and a Smallin’ serving of Chicken Poppers (P169) with BBQ powder.
Also, I certainly did not forget to take some Instagram-worthy photos of their place!
The Verdict
Lemme keep it short: THE FRIES AND CHICKEN POPPERS WAS AWESOME!!! Not kidding here, their fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside plus that Furikake Powder. The same also goes with their chicken pops!
