EIGHTEEN persons, including the relative of a slain drug lord, have been caught in drug operations in the cities of Cebu and Talisay in the past two days.
Anti-narcotics operatives also seized more than 300 grams of “shabu” worth P6.4 million.
The biggest haul happened in Sitio Proper, Barangay Ermita in Cebu City, where Pardo Police Station operatives seized 260 grams of shabu worth P3 million at 1 a.m. yesterday.
The operatives also arrested Fiel Secretaria, who, according to the police, is the nephew of alleged drug lord Rowen “Yawa” Secretaria, who was killed in a drug raid in Banacon Island, Getafe, Bohol in May 2016.
Last Wednesday afternoon, Anthony Rivera Jugarap and Jenelyn Pacaldo Alcuizar were arrested by operatives of Mambaling Police Station.
The suspects yielded six grams of “shabu” worth P70,800 in Barangay Duljo Fatima.
At 1 p.m. yesterday, 14 persons were arrested at 1 p.m. in Sitio Mananga, Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City.
Seized from the suspects were 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P340,000.
Three alleged drug maintainers Elissa Alisoso, 53; Vangie Quiñones, 33; and Leonardo Juarez, 38, were caught by the operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7, the Talisay City Police Station and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
Arrested drug den visitors were Jerry Quiñones, 31; Leslie Domasig, 28; Ronnel Pardillo, 23; Ruben Hinodepano, 34; Crissan Luna, 27; Richard Pautan, 28; Sunny Ripdos, 28; Marvin Alisoso, 28; Eric Labrado, 22; Jerson Basolo, 35; and a 17-year-old boy.
Suspects will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Also at 11:50 a.m. yesterday, Vincent Garnet Sermmillon, 29, was caught with 10.12 grams of shabu worth P118,472 in Sitio Bohol Village in Duljo Fatima.
