THREE major streets in Davao City downtown area will be closed for the arrival of the heart relic of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina on October 15 to 17.
"Ang closure lang nato is C.M Recto corner San Pedro ug Bolton to San Pedro Corner (The road closure will be in C.M Recto Corner San Pedro and Bolton to San Pedro),” City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) Retired Senior Superintendent Dionisio Abude said in a phone interview with SunStar Davao on Friday, October 12.
He explained that the closing of the streets for this event is to provide bigger space for the Catholic devotees who will go to San Pedro Cathedral to see the relic.
The procession of the relic to San Pedro Cathedral will be start around 7 p.m., Sunday, October 14. (RJC
