CLARK FREEPORT -- Top surfer and seven-time international surfing champion Layne Beachley recent shared her “wave of success” to staff of a locator of the Freeport here.

Beachley, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific company ambassador, conducted a workshop on attitude and resilience to more than 150 Wyndham staff, said Jerry Estrada, Wyndham Services Asia Pacific (Philippines) director of Operations.

“Layne Beachley reflects our culture here at Wyndham as she is incredibly driven and believes in the power of a positive attitude. She also promotes a sense of fun and vitality and we are thrilled to have Layne here working with our staff to help with both their personal growth and professional development,” Estrada said.

He added that Beachley is actively involved in a number of initiatives aimed at promoting staff development and wellness in line with the company’s “Be Well” health and wellness program.

“It is great to see Wyndham investing in its people this way. There is also a clear commercial benefit in helping to foster great attitudes and growth mindsets among our teams, especially in the customer service orientated hospitality industry,” Estrada said.

The two-day workshop included fun and inspirational activities designed to set goals, practice empathy and develop a strong positive mindset.
