At the Garden

MANY know Beko's Biik as the lechon-maker we call or text for our lechon orders.

Now there's more to Beko's than just lechon orders. It has a garden, and you can eat your lechon and more there, and it's called Beko's Garden Grill.

Their best-seller is their lechon biik, but there were just two of us, and so we can't possibly order that. We opted for their regular fare of (super huge slabs) of garlic chorizo (extra rice, please!) and sinuglaw with salted egg.

Warning: It's best to bring your barkada. Their servings are big and best shared. And you might just be tempted to eat with your hands, definitely not for romantic dates where you want to impress. It's for best friends, it's for families, it's for barkadas, where you can binge and laugh at your fats with no one daring to comment on the extra pound you gained.

Beko's Garden Grill is at 2nd Opal Street, RGA Village. As posted in their Facebook page: “It's the small street on the left after the Palm Village entrance along Veloso, Obrero.” Veloso is the street behind Victoria Plaza going to Dacudao Avenue.

They are open from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight.

They also have chicken inasal and big eye tuna belly and all the stuff that could make a Dabawenyo binge.
