FIRST district Representative Celso Lobregat said he had a "very fruitful" one-on-one meeting with Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go on Saturday, October 13.

Lobregat said they talked about politics and other "positive matters" during their meeting, which lasted for about 30 minutes. It took place just after Go led the opening of the 14th Malasakit Center in Zamboanga City.

“We discussed a lot of things, especially local politics and our continued overwhelming support to the Duterte administration. I am happy about it and let’s leave it that way in the meantime,” Lobregat said.

Lobregat is the standard bearer of administration party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), which formed an alliance with the local Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP), Nacionalista Party and Adelante Zamboanga Party.

Go led the opening Saturday of the Malasakit Center at the government-run Zamboanga City

Medical Center (ZCMC).

The Malasakit Center aims to hasten the delivery of medical services and provide free medicines to poor patients.
