LOOKING for a lifestyle app to address your daily needs? Well, one can already dine, book trips, and experience sites in Davao all in just one app.

Streetby is the first Mindanawon lifestyle app in the country. The app was first launched in Cagayan de Oro City, and last Thursday, October 11, 2018, Streetby set foot in Davao.

“We wanted to create an app which could be part of the daily routine of everybody, from the morning they wake up until before they go to bed. It’s convenience through tapping,” said Streetby chief executive officer Ronald Rhey P. Miñoza.

The lifestyle application partners with business owners in Davao. No registration fee is charged to merchants who sign up with Streetby. The company just takes a minimal percentage out of every transaction.

“We also created this startup to support our local community. We hire the best people to be in the team to reach our goal to be one globally competitive company,” Miñoza said.

Streetby co-founder and chief strategy officer Cherryanne Lee Angoy said the app serves as a good platform in introducing local businesses.

Angoy added that the app works as a delivery medium for Dabawenyos who wish to avail of services from different establishments without going out of the confines of their homes.

Users of Streetby can already book for hotel rooms and activities, order ahead at restaurants, purchase event tickets, request for parcel delivery with cash handling and queuing services and book for on-demand laundry service. More features will be added for a total lifestyle experience.

Elysia Wellness Spa owner and Streetby business merchant Cherry Faye B. Al-ag said that with the app, it would be easier for a small business like hers to be promoted in digital space.

“Setting an app for a small business like ours would be very hard for us. But when Streetby came, promoting the massage services we offer at Elysia would be easier now,” Al-ag said.

Presently, Streetby has more than 50 business merchants offering a wide array of services for Dabawenyos in the city.

“Our next goal is to be able to conquer the country by getting known as a lifestyle application providing an avenue for small business. That’s why we exist,” Miñoza said.
