JSY Transport recovered just in time to rout Basecom, 92-78, while Organic Solutions derailed Silver Dragon Transport, 85-74, in the ongoing Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade Inc. inter-company tournament at BTTHS Po Hang Gym.
Basecom jumpstarted with an eye-popping, 30-8, opening quarter lead behind Efraim Valencia and Ruel Bahian with a combined 22 points.
Yan Yan Dy responded with 17 points and Shinley Uy added eight markers, shaving the lead to 48-43 at the break despite Jeremy Coo and Richard Coo hitting for Basecom.
Dy continued his scoring spree with 20 markers aided by Edward Uy in the final half for JSY's victory and improving to a 5-3 record and dropping Basecom to 1-5.
Dy sizzled with 37 points.
Meanwhile, Organic Solutions controlled Silver Dragon Transport in the first three quarters leading at the half, 46-27, and hold off a late charge by SDT to complete the victory.
Lito Dumdum, Pao Pao Lim, Paolo Piccio and Rinen Miagao gave Organic Solutions a 67-43 lead going to the fourth quarter negating Leo Bat-og and Ralph Richard Tan brave stand for the Silver Dragons.
A late charge spearheaded by Tan's three triples and Bat-og's seven markers were not enough as Organic Solutions improved to 5-3 and SDT skidded to 2-6.
Miagao led Organic Solutions with 16 points.
