Team DAD gets set for elections in Porac

MAYORALTY-aspirant Dexter Albert David filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office on Monday, October 15, with the entire Team DAD, setting the coming polls in Porac town.

Team DAD first attended a Thanksgiving Mass at the Saint Catherine Parish Church here before proceeding to file their COC.

David was accompanied by supporters, as well as Mayor Condralito dela Cruz.

David's complete slate include vice mayoralty aspirant Rafael Canlapan, reelectionist Ludovico Muli, Daboy Enriquez, Michelle Bengco. New councilor aspirants include Dr. Allan Pineda, Rafael Canlapan, Tong Santos, Budoy Tamayo, Ron David and Rito Buan.

David and his team later joined in the official filing of candidacy of his elder sister, incumbent Councilor Olga Frances Dizon, at the Comelec provincial office. The elder David is running for board member of Pampanga's second district.

Meanwhile, mayoralty-aspirant David said his years in public service and his experience in helping the local community convinced him of his readiness to handle the top executive post of the municipal government.

David is serving his last term as vice mayor. He serves as vice mayor under Mayor Condralito dela Cruz, who is also on his last term as mayor.

David said he has served Porac town in different elective positions and is now ready to take his style of public service to the next level.

David said education, improvement of public education services, peace and order, livelihood and impact investments for Porac town will be at the center of his campaign agenda.

He said access to health care, assistance to indigenous communities and renewed effort to provide basic services to poor communities will also be continued.

He added that many of the concrete and beneficial programs of Mayor Dela Cruz should be continued in the next administration.
