Morales cites cityhood as legacy

FORMER Mabalacat City mayor Marino Boking Morales has cited cityhood as one of his legacies during his term as local chief executive.

Morales said before filing his certificate of candidacy for vice-mayor on Tuesday, October 16, that Mabalacat was converted into a component city under his administration six years ago.

The former mayor filed his COC under the Lakas-CMD party.

Morales is a guest candidate of incumbent Vice Mayor Christian Halili, who filed his COC for city mayor Tuesday under the Partido Federal Ng Pilipinas.

Morales and Halili were accompanied by their running mates, including Froilan Galang, Jerry Magsino, Timmy Dee, Jerry Basilio, Dan Bayani, Dwight Morales, Eddie Sotto, Carlo River, Amauri Tiglao, and Noel Castro.

Morales said several projects were completed during his term as mayor, including the establishment of to Mabalacat City College and public high schools, birthing stations, renal care unit and others.

He also asked the people to support their team CM in next year's polls.
