AFTER her project with sister Claudine Barretto-Santiago failed to materialize, new Kapamilya addition Gretchen Barretto is finally set to do her first teleserye with ABS-CBN.
In a television interview, Gretchen said she will be doing a soap opera with a working title of Til’ My Heartache Ends. “They’re giving me a very good project, a very big project,” she said.
Gretchen shared that she will be working with young actress Bea Alonzo and universal leading man Derek Ramsay. It was August last year, during the third Star Magic Ball, when Gretchen announced that she will be doing a soap with Claudine, but the project did not push through. Her sister moved to the rival network.
Gretchen meanwhile said she is very excited to work with Derek because she believes that he’s a very good actor. She also admitted that Derek is her crush in the entertainment circuit.
She also confirmed that she and Tony Boy Cojuangco are very much together now. “We’re so together now. I remember Tony saying ‘I’m gonna make you fall in love with me again’ and I said yeah right, whatever. He’s good,” she said.
It was early last year when Gretchen was linked to government official Dody Puno and news surfaced that her relationship with Tony Boy is on the verge of split up.
“There was a time in my life that I became bored and all; now I’m contented,” Gretchen cleared. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
