ALL set for the first MassKara Chess Festival on October 20 to 21, at the City Mall Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
The first day will cater The Guanzon Kiddies Chess Championship which has three categories: 10 and Under, 13 and Under and 16 and Under Boys and Girls.
On the following day, The Open Rapid and Blitz Championship will be joined by several master caliber chess players and full-pledged chess masters of Negros.
This Chess Festival offers about a total of P60, 000 to be awarded to the 52 winners in five different categories.
Also, the event and winners will be featured in the Negros Chess Journal and MassKara Chess Festival Magazine.
Participants are encouraged to register in the earliest time possible and bring their own chess set and chess clock during the event.
