A 43-YEAR-OLD big-time drug personality was caught on Wednesday night, October 17, in a raid on CPG East Avenue, Mansasa District, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The suspect, Joseph Horcerada Alburadora, yielded 935 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, worth P11 million, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

Alburadora's name surfaced after the arrests of pushers Geoffrey Silao and Paul Christian Culpa last September. The two admitted they sourced their supply from Alburadora.

The suspect's other alleged associate was identified as Jojo Aguilar, who is currently detained at Bohol District Jail.

The arrest was based on a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 4 Presiding Judge Sisinio Virtudazo.

Operatives from Bohol Provincial Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit (lead unit), Regional Special Operations Group, Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit 5, Provincial Mobile Force Company and Special Weapons and Tactics led the operations.

Alburadora will be facing complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Selling dangerous drugs is a non-bailable offense. (KAL)
