BEFORE we could reach another city or another country for our #TravelGoals, we are first faced with airport queues and a few hours of waiting for our aircraft in the airport which sometimes results to hunger or being cranky.
During our trip to Indonesia sponsored by our friends from Aneka Kartika Tours & Travel Services, we first laid over in Brunei Darussalam. All the flights we took from Manila to Brunei to Indonesia and vice versa were made smooth and less tiring because of Royal Brunei. It was my first time flying with the said airline and I can honestly say that my experience with them contributed to the greatness of my entire Indonesia-Brunei trip.
As there may be so many things to commend Royal Brunei for their service, I listed three things I particularly liked about the airline.
1. The staff are very friendly
We were fortunate to meet with some of the airport staff of Royal Brunei in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and they were very accommodating and made sure what we needed were addressed. We also had a small chitchat with some of the flight stewardess and the two pilots before the rest of the passengers boarded the plane. They were also very game to pose for pictures for us.
2. In-flight food
As some airlines also have in-flight food prepared for the passengers, what we loved about Royal Brunei's is a number of options and the generosity of the serving that will sure to save you from the hunger from the airport queue a few hours before the boarding.
3. Royal Brunei's Sky Lounge services
When we arrived at Bandar Seri Begawan Airport (Brunei International Airport), we decided to spend a few hours in the Sky Lounge, Royal Brunei's VIP lounge, before our flight to Surabaya, Indonesia. There, we were welcomed by cozy, comfortable seats and a meal buffet of Japanese, Western, and other Asian food that will sure to prepare the passengers to their next flight.
Aside from that, Sky Lounge also has a praying room for the Muslims, gaming area, movie area, and kids' area. The entire VIP lounge is perfect for the entire family.
