RE-ELECTIONIST Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has completed his line-up for the 2019 elections.
Former Councilor Liza Pineda, Ralph "Basti" David, Dr. Victor "Cokoy" Tiglao, Poblacion village chair Elmer "Totong" Mendiola, Rey Pineda, Reyes Delos Reyes, Enrico Castro, Ranie De Leon and Carlo Dizon filed their respective certificates of candidacy (COCs) last Tuesday, October 16.
Garbo and his team will be running under Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda's Kambilan Party.
Garbo filed his COC for mayor last Monday, October 15. He was accompanied by Councilor Gerald "Geld" Aquino who filed his COC for vice-mayor and his daughter Councilor Krisanel "Winwin" Garbo, who is also seeking re-election.
During the filing, Garbo said that the identities of his nine teammates are "secret."
The mayor asked his constituents to support his team which, he said, is committed to work for the development of the city.
Garbo will face incumbent Vice-Mayor Christian Halili in the 2019 mayoralty race.
Halili's runningmates include former mayor Marino "Boking" Morales who will be running for vice mayor under the Lakas CMD Party.
Morales is a guest candidate of Halili who is running under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas.
Halili's other teammates who will be running for councilor are Amauri "Bok" Tiglao, Timmy Dee, Dan Bayani, Jerry Basilio, Froilan Galang, Gerry Magsino, Eddie Sotto, Carlo Rivera, Rogelio Yumul, Dwight Morales, and Noel Castro.
