MisOr Cares partners with Malasakit Center

MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano is partnering his brainchild Misamis Oriental Care System (MisOr Cares) with President Rodrigo Duterte's Malasakit Center to widen the delivery of healthcare services in the province.

Emano said he would direct the MisOr Cares to put up a desk at the newly-opened Malasakit Center to provide assistance especially clients from the province.

Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go launched the Malasakit Center at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) last week.

Various government agencies such as the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philhealth, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) among others, will also put up their desk at the one-stop shop center.

“Kung ang pondo sa MisOr Cares gikinahanglan sa Malasakit Center dili ko kini ihikaw. I think mohangyo mi diha nga magbutang sab og lamesa alang sa pag-inabagay sa sa Malasakit Center ug MisOr Cares (If the Malasakit Center needs more budget we are willing to shell out funds from the MisOr Cares. We will ask them if we can put up a desk for MisOr Cares),”Emano said.

Emano said with the partnership of Malasakit Center and MisOr Cares, people not only in the province will have easy access on free medicines, hospitalization and other medical needs.
