Pinoy-British Ryan moduwa alang sa Pinas

UNITED KINGDOM. Si Pinoy British James Halasan Ryan naghinam-hinam na pag-usab nga moduwa sa Philippines U19 Junior Volcanoes team karong Disyembre. (Fe Halasan Ryan)

ANG United Kingdom (UK)-based Filipino-British James Halasan Ryan gitawag na sab aron moduwa alang sa Philippines U19 Junior Volcanoes nga makigtigi sa 2018 Asia Rugby U19 Championships sa Disyembre didto sa Bangkok, Thailand.

Ang 18-anyos, nakadawat og imbitasyon gikan ni Philippine Rugby Football Union, Inc. general manager Jake Letts niadtong Oktubre 11.

Ang iyang inahan nga si Fe, usa ka Dabawenyang nurse, miingon sa SunStar Davao pinaagi Facebook nga moabot ang iyang nag-inusarang anak sa Davao City sa Disyembre 2 dayon mobalik sa Manila kauban iyang ig-agaw nga si Rjay sa Disyembre 7 aron magbansay sa Junior Volcanoes team.

Si Ryan, kinsang miduwa sa rugby sa Team Philippines sa ikalimang higayon, mobalik sa Davao City human sa Bangkok aron magselebrar og Pasko uban ang iyang mga paryente.

"I have been very happy with both my personal form and that of my team. I have found the combination of my strength and speed has given me the advantage over bigger but slower opponents, I will almost always gain ground when I run with the ball which keeps the team moving forward," pahayag ni Ryan kinsang naga-adjust sa posisyon hooker.

Miduwa siya sa DKRFC team nga midaug og pito sa walo ka duwa karong season.

Dugang niya, "I am excited about the upcoming tournament as it will make up for the disappointment of the injury that stopped me playing in the last tournament. I am hoping to impress in my new position as the PRFU coach had suggested my best position for the team would be in the front row."

Si Ryan, usa ka blackbelt, miduwa sab og judo ug wrestling sa milabay Batang Pinoy regional ug national championships nga nakabulawan ug plata.
