MENSAHE ni Tourism Undersecretary Arturo Boncato Jr. nga dili abusaran ang kinaiyahan aron padayong mapalambo ang turismo sa Pilipinas.
Kini ang iyang gipamulong atol sa bag-ohay lang natapos nga Association of Tourism Officers (ATOP) National Convention diin ang kagamhanan sa Misamis Oriental ang naghost sa dakong kalihokan.
Gipaabot niini nga makigtimbayayong siya kung hisgotan ang pagpalambo pa sa industriya sa turismo dinhi sa Misamis Oriental ug mipasabot nga ang paglambo sa turismo mao usab ang paglambo sa ekonomiya, kung diin daghan ang mahatagan sa higayon nga makaangkon og panginabuhian ug negosyo
“It starts with a vision. Ihan-ay nato ang tanan gikinahanglan. Pangandaman nato, and it doesn’t take overnight. Ang importante naay governance. Naa ang private sector, naa pod ang mga investors, ug mga infrastructures. Ang mga ocular destinations dapat accessible. Atong tinguha nga mahimong sustainable ang tourism. Dili nato abusuhon ang environment, while tourism can last a longer time.” Pahayag niini.
Samtang ang laing bisita sa kalihokan nga mao si Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar, nagpahimangno sa mga tourism officers nga dunay dako nga responsibilidad ang tanang miyembro sa ATOP alang sa kasulbaran sa kapobrehon sa Pilipinas pinaagi sa pagpalambo sa turismo.
“Tourism nowadays has been transformed into a lucrative business with the number of interrelated industries contributing to financial growth of cities and countries. The event emphasizes the importance of all tourism officers should be rightly proud of the gifts from nature. This is a matter of obligation to serve, protect, respect, and cherish the land and waters, and the environmental circle that surrounds us,” pahayag ni Andanar.
Samtang ang laing bisita nga si Cavite Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla nakadayeg sa turismo sa probinsya nga daw dunay dakong kabag-ohan.
“It’s a breather to visit the province of Misamis Oriental. [This time] I’ve seen the prosperity, and the progress of your loving province, na talagang mae-engganyo kang bumalik nang bumalik, because of the wonderful waterfalls, different tourist spots, and fantastic culture,” pahayag ni Mayor Revilla.
