FLYING with Cebu Pacific has gotten more exciting as it introduces some new inflight meals that you will enjoy during long flights when you pre-order it.

I was able to try these new Halal-certified inflight meals during a recent trip to Bali.

In the Manila-Denpasar flight, I had the Chicken Sisig, which is diced marinated grilled chicken tossed with red onions, calamansi, chili, and spices.

For a pre-order inflight meal on a low-cost carrier, this was honestly a really good dish. I really enjoyed every spoonful of it and silently wanted another serving of it.

In the same flight, I also had one of their buy-on-board snacks, the mini-chocolate chip cookies, which were really good. This is also a favorite snack of mine when I fly with Cebu Pacific.

On our flight back to the Philippines, I had the Beef Pares, which is beef stew cooked with star anise and spices paired with garlic rice. This meal was also quite good and the beef was surprisingly tender.

The two dishes I had are part of their airline's new selection of pre-ordered meals that it created with Miascor-Gate Gourmet Philippines. Aside from Chicken Sisig and Beef Pares, you can also pre-order the Beef Kare-kare, Fish Escabeche, Shrimp Alfonso Pasta, Chicken Inasal, and Ube Langka Croissant.

You can pre-order these meals at least 24 hours prior to departure of your flight. You can purchase these meals when you manage your booked flights online.

Meanwhile, eating with Cebu Pacific has also become greener as it shifts to the use of eco-friendly utensils. The airline is now using compostable cutlery made from polylactic acid, which is derived from corn starch.
