A NETWORK security solutions company has opened a facility in Cebu.
Netpoleon Philippines Inc. general manager Sam Alamani last Thursday said this is part of the company’s plans to better cater to the Visayas and Mindanao markets this year.
“The Cebu market is very responsive. In fact, our resellers here in Cebu already have more than 10 offices,” he said.
Netpoleon Solutions Inc. is a value-added distributor of information technology networks and security. It started operating in Singapore in 2000 and currently maintains a facility in Manila that started operating in 2002.
Netpoleon aims to assist its partners in building profitable businesses by offering a range of enterprise network and security products and solutions. Among the products distributed by Netpoleon are Check Point, Brocade, Blue Coat, Arbor, Cyber-Ark, Bluecat Networks, AudioCodes, AlgoSec, Barracuda, IBM Internet Security Systems, LogRhythm and Netscout.
“With the continuous evolution of information technology, there is a need for network security to prevent threats and anomalies, and ensure the smooth running of businesses,” Alamani said.
The company’s presence in Cebu, he said, would bring network solutions to both the established and emerging businesses.
Netpoleon Philippines has 30 employees, of which 60 percent are focused on design, engineering and product support and solutions.
Aside from the Cebu expansion this year, Netpoleon Solutions also plans to expand the reach of its network solutions in other Asian countries like Vietnam and Indonesia.
