PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte will visit Bacolod City during the highlights of the 39th MassKara Festival on October 28.
Councilor Em Ang, action officer of the MassKara Festival, confirmed that the President will be here during the highlights of the festival. But there are no specific details to his visit yet.
“We are still awaiting the official schedule of President Duterte here,” she said.
In 2016 and 2017, President Duterte was the official guest of the MassKara Festival.
On October 27, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio will also attend the highlights of the MassKara Festival.
Ang said the presidential daughter will witness the MassKara street dance competition schools category at the Bacolod Public Plaza at 3 p.m. as well as the Electric MassKara at the Tourism Strip along Lacson Street and the K-Pop concert at the Government Center.
She said Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, Senator Cynthia Villar and the secretary of the Department of Tourism will also be here during the highlights of the festival.
She added there are also foreign guests from Korea and several officials from the United States who will be coming for the festival.
