Cebu PWDs mikampiyon sa Negros

NINGPATIGBABAW ang Cebu-based Philippine Accessible Disability Services Inc. (Pads) Dragonboat Racing Team sa 2018 Buglasan Dragon Boat Race sa San Jose, Negros Oriental ning bag-uhay lang.

Ang Pads, nga adunay 14 ka mga sakop, ninglangkat sa kampiyunato sa 200-meter women’s small boat pinaagi sa oras nga usa ka minuto, ug 19.09 segundos.

Gipangbuntog sa Pads ang SJ Banatti nga nahiluna sa ikaduha sa oras nga 1:19.69.

Nagkanayon si Pads executive officer John Paul Maunes nga malipayon sila sa kadaugan nga timailhan sa pag-usbaw sa kapabilidad sa PWD paddlers.

“The teams that we competed against were strong and fast. We prepared for this competition and it paid off. It’s really great that the Pads Dragonboat team won the women’s title,” matod ni Maunes sa Sun.Star Cebu.

Gawas sa dragonboat, ang Pads aduna sab programa sa laing sporting events alang sa PWDs.

Ning bag-uhay lang, ang Pads nagpahigayon og sitting volleyball seminar sa Aznar Coliseum few days ubos sa pagdumala ni US volleyball coach Eric Hodgson, kinsa nahilambigit sab sa sitting volleyball tournament alang sa PWDs. RSC, ESL
