A TOTAL of 30 Miss Earth 2018 candidates from Group 1 on Wednesday, October 24, graced the Laus Group of Companies’ (LGC) numerous auto dealerships in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The visit was held prior to the pageant’s Swimsuit Parade and Resort Wear Competition to be staged Wednesday evening at the LausGroup Event Centre.

The ladies were toured around LausAutoGroup-owned BMW, Ford, Kia, Suzuki, Mazda, Fuso, Volkswagen, Carmix, Chevy, and Haima where they were able to get a glimpse of the brand’s operations and meet the companies’ executives and staff.

Miss Earth 2018 Bolivia Karen Quispe shared that she was “wowed” by the conglomerate's wide network of dealerships and was impressed by each of the brand's car display.

She said that it is her first time in the Philippines and she is “glad to have the privilege to visit Pampanga.”

“The Filipinos are really friendly and warm and they also resemble my countrymen so I feel very at home here. It’s lovely that I get to visit Pampanga, and I heard the food is great here so I’m really excited,” the Latina beauty queen said.

Miss Earth 2018 Argentina Dolores Cardoso then quipped that she hopes to explore more of province’s must-visit destinations.

“I would love to come back here and discover Pampanga’s tourist sites and of course, as a firm advocate of the environment, I am dedicated to promote the care and preservation of Mother Earth to the locals,” she noted.

For her part, Miss Earth 2018 Dominican Republic Gabriela Franceschini relayed that as delegates of the prestigious international competition, it is their responsibility to use their voice in sharing awareness and addressing issues concerning the environment.

The Miss Earth 2018 will be the 18th edition of the Miss Earth pageant. Karen Ibasco, reigning title-holder, will crown her successor during the grand coronation night to be held on November 3 at the Mall Of Asia Arena in Pasay, Manila.
