ANG Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) nagsiguro sa mga komyuters sa ilang kalusawsan ug seguridad atol sa ilang pagbiyahe sa All Saints’ ug All Souls’ Day karong Nobyembre 1 ug 2.
Si Aisa Usop, DCOTT manager, nagkanayon nga mas istrikto ang seguridad sa terminal, inabagan sa Davao City Police ug Task Force Davao.
Gipaniguro sab niini nga nag-function ang security cameras ug walk-through machines sa DCOTT.
“Aside from our men in uniform stationed at the terminal, our walk-through machines and CCTV cameras are fully functional and are connected to the Public Safety and Security Command Center,” ni Usop.
Suma ni Usop nga gilauman nilang mosaka ang ihap sa mga pasahero ngadto sa 40 percent itandi sa ordinaryong adlaw.
“We get an average of 750-800 bus trips on a daily basis while during our peak seasons we reach up to 1,200 trips due to the increase (in number) of passengers.”
Luyo sa seguridad, ang Land Transportation Office ug Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-Davao mohimo sab og inspeksiyon sa mga bus aron masiguro nga luwas silang mobiyahe, lakip na sab kung balido ilang prangkisa.
Mihangyo si Usop sa publiko nga magpasensiya ug mo-kooperar sa otoridad, ilabi na kung taas ang linya, tungod sa inspeksiyon nga gihimo. (CIO)
