WE’RE a few days away until Halloween and now is the perfect time for all the spook-tacular shenanigans. You can get creative or stick to tradition, but either way, you’re guaranteed to have a wicked week with these 10 fang-tastic ways to celebrate the scariest season of the year.

1. Decorate your house

Get into the Halloween spirit by giving your house a boo-tiful makeover. DIY vampires, ghosts, mummies and the like, are few of the creepiest decorations you can put up. You may also want to add cobwebs around the house for that added haunted house feels.

2. Go trick-or-treating

What is Halloween if you miss out on trick-or-treating? You can go around the village with your entire family, knock on neighbors’ doors and say, “Trick or treat!” You’re never too old to hoard sweets on the night of Halloween as long as it still fires up the kid in you.

3. Buy a stack of candies

If trick-or-treating doesn’t interest you anymore, you can buy a whole pack of chocolates and candies to give out. Giving out candies is equal the fun, especially when you see children happily waddling away with their stash of goodies.

4. Dress up

The Halloween season is your chance to dress up as scary monsters from your favorite horror movie or series. Dressing up the part is what makes Halloween freaky fun. The bonus part is scaring the hell out of your friends and family dressed up as their worst nightmare.

5. Make costumes

Wearing Halloween costumes is just as fun as making them. Unleash the dark yet creative side in you by crafting the most gruesome costume you can follow or think of. It’s Halloween anyway, so might as well go all out.

6. Visit horror houses

What makes Halloween extra exciting are the horror houses around town. Face your deepest and darkest fears by conquering one or all of the horror houses found in the city. You can bring your family and friends to make the visits even more exciting.

7. Attend Halloween parties

Halloween parties are going to be everywhere and each one is sure to leave an impression. If the gang is on a roll, you can hop from one party to another to make the most out of the night. Just make sure everyone is still sober enough to avoid real-life frights.

8. Set up a horror movie marathon

Halloween calls for a movie marathon of your top horror films. If you’re the homebody kind, then a horror movie marathon is your best option to celebrate Halloween. No set up is more delightful than you snuggled up in bed with a bag of chips, watching your all-time favorite horror flicks.

9. Whip up Halloween-inspired recipes

Hosting a Halloween party is one fun way to get into the Halloween festivities. The best part? You get the chance to whip up your personal Halloween-inspired recipes and have a swell time in the kitchen while you’re at it.

10. Play scary games

Horror-themed games are not for the faint of heart. It takes a lot of guts and bravery to finish even one game. Play at your own risk.
