PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte warned a village chief in Bacolod City to stop his involvement in illegal drugs.

Duterte, in a speech during the 39th MassKara Festival Saturday, October 27, at the public plaza, said the public roads and streets are only for the law-abiding citizen.

“Kayong mga kriminal you have no right being there to sell drugs or intimidate the people, papatayin ko kayo. Get out of the streets. Do not sell drugs. One million six have now become inutile, useless citizens,” he said.

Duterte, who withheld the name of the village chief, told the village chief to stop the illegal activity or leave Bacolod.

“Pumunta ka doon sa Spratly, doon ka maliligo araw-araw. Umalis kayo dito, lumayas kayo. 'Pag hindi, I'm telling you now prangka-prangka, I will destroy you. Magkaintindihan tayo diyan,” Duterte said.

He added: “ Diyan ako kagalit sa droga. Galit na galit talaga ako because it will destroy our nation. Kung hindi tayo magkaintindihan diyan, sorry. Sorry na lang wala talaga ako magawa talagang hihiritan ko kayo. Maghintay lang kayo mauuna ko talaga kayo. Mauna kayo.”
