YOUNG basketball prospects in Negros Occidental will get the chance to experience these life-changing events next month as SM-National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) and the Philippine Collegiate Champions' League (PCCL) Provincial Eliminations unfolds in Bacolod City.
Anthony Carlo Agustin, NBTC and PCCL provincial coordinator, said that these tournaments will be of great help not only for players but for the coaches, too.
NBTC League, now on its 11th season, is the most exciting high school basketball league in the country that concentrates on developing skills, building character, and raising leaders.
"We would like to invite your school to participate in the prestigious NBTC League. The Local City Qualifiers will begin this November and culminate with the National Finals on March 2019 in Manila,” Agustin said.
Moreover, NBTC firmly believes in the importance of coaches in impacting young men's lives.
The league is spearheaded by Eric Altamirano as program director and Alex Compton as national training director.
Meanwhile, PCCL alongside the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) has organized inter-collegiate basketball tournaments among teams from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in a bid to further strengthen the collegiate basketball landscape through a nationwide school-based competition. (HGD)
