THE City Government of San Fernando led by Mayor Edwin Santiago on Monday recognized four traffic enforcers for their immediate response and contributions in solving crime incidents around the city last July.

The traffic enforcers were commended due to their commitment as public servants in the arrest of a robbery case suspect along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Sindalan last July 29.

Santiago together with Vice-Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, City Human Resource Management Officer Rachelle Yusi, and Traffic Management Division OIC Danilo Bautista led the awarding of certificates of commendation to traffic enforcers Heintgie F. Dizon, Joey D. Tolentino, Reynaldo D. Aquino, and Rico E. Sioson.

Sioson was also lauded for helping in the arrest of a suspect who was involved in an incident along Jose Abad Santos Avenue, Barangay Dolores last July 26.

The city government’s agenda, which is “Kapayapaan at Kaayusan ay Makakamtan sa Nagkakaisa at Disiplinadong Mamamayan,” was achieved through the actions of these traffic enforcers.

Santiago lauded the enforcers for their hardwork, perseverance, and determination in public service and for ensuring the safety of Fernandinos.

Santiago said that he believes these enforcers will serve as good examples and inspiration to others to do good, for the betterment of the city.

"One of the things we have here in City of San Fernando is our value of caring for others, because we believe that when citizens work together, they will definitely grow amongst their communities. Hopefully our traffic enforcers will inspire us all to do good things to others," Santiago said.
