Woman stabbed multiple times in Tinago

A 23-year-old woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, November 4, in a boarding house in Sitio Potat, Barangay Tinago, Cebu City.

The fatality was identified as Charie Mae Mancia, a native of Aloguinsan town, Cebu.

Police did not divulge the identity of the culprit as they are tracking him down.

Initial investigation showed that the witness heard a commotion in the room of the victim.

The witness later heard Mancia shouting for help.

When Mancia fell silent, the witness decided to go the victim's room. The witness knocked on the door, but no one opened it.

The witness went back to her room and later heard footsteps going downstairs. The witness went out and saw a man wearing a red shirt and black jeans walking away.

A neighbor called for asistance and Tinago barangay tanod called the police.

After a team of police officers arrived in the boarding house, they opened Mancia's room and found her lying in her own blood. (KAL)
