Happy Barkday: Dessert buffet for doggos and more

DOGS are not only men’s best friends, they have become part of the family. These four-legged creatures make the world a happier place to live in because of their charming disposition and loyalty. When it comes to taking care of these loyal doggos, “furrents” always make sure they give the best for their “fur-babies,” most especially during their birthdays or the day they were adopted.

But sometimes, it’s not enough to have good intentions. Throwing pets the best birthday party ever could be challenging because there are a lot of human food that are poisonous for them like chocolate, caffeine, onion, garlic and chives, to name a few.

Dog parents and young entrepreneurs Izarrah Steffi Grace Romero and Carleen Patriz Rotomo know the struggle, and they believed that every birthday party would not be complete without a “barkday” cake. This is why they decided to offer their skills of making dog treats and baking cakes for dogs by launching Doggoccasions by Pawtisserie.

Aiming to help in celebrating every dog’s milestones, Doggoccasions by Pawtisserie offers party packages that include a dessert buffet with different varieties and flavors to choose from, customized invitations, party decors and giveaways.

Its celebration cake called “Doggoface” is decorated with designs that mimic a dog’s face or any standard dog faces with the flavors of Peanut Butter and Apple. “Hmmm Chocolate,” made from organic carob and love—minus real chocolate of course—is another hit.

There are also “poopycakes,” mini doggy celebration cupcakes with a twirl of fluffy icing, “Nutty Dog,” made with all-natural peanut butter, and “Butty Pup,” made with all-natural butter.

Dogs would surely love the “Pawookies.” These are paw-designed cookies with the brand’s signature pink and blue-green colors, and comes in flavors of Peanut Butter and Apple, and Chicken Liver and Carrots.

“As dog parents and dog lovers, we believed that every dog deserves a fun ‘barkday pawty’ with their furry friends. That’s why we want to create something for dog lovers like us. And we want to gather these people to have fun under the sun with our ‘furbabies’ with treats and games.” said Rotomo and Romero.

As of now, the “pawstry” chefs accept orders online through fb.com/pawtisserriecakeshop, @pawtisseriecake on Instagram or email them at pawtisseriecakehop@gmail.com.
