TWO men were shot dead in separate shooting incidents in two villages in Cebu City within eight hours.

One of the victims was identified as Victorio Molina, a taxi driver and a resident of Lapu-Lapu City. He was shot dead by his passenger in Naya Village in Barangay Tisa around 3 a.m. Wednesday, November 7.

Investigators eyed robbery as the motive behind the murder.

After being informed of the incident, a team from Punta Princessa Police Station rushed to the crime scene.

Police found Molina lifeless in the driver's seat as he succumbed to a gunshot wound on his body.

Some residents told the police that they heard a single gunfire.

In Sabellano Street, Barangay Quiot, a man identified as Sirico Sadora was shot dead by riding-in-tandem assailants past 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 6.

The victim was about to park his motorcycle when the assailants arrived and shot him several times.
