P284, 700 worth of ‘shabu' seized

AN ESTIMATED P284, 700 worth of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) was seized in three separate drug raids in Negros Occidental on November 5.

In Bacolod City, personnel of City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) conducted a drug bust against Marichu Graciano at Barangay Banago.

Also arrested were Ian Delas-alas, a village watchman, Jun Graciano, and a minor.

Rosalie Cayupado remains at large.

Police recovered from them nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams worth P240, 000, the P1, 000 marked money, and coin purse.

All four suspects are detained at Police Station 3.

In E.B. Magalona town, Luis Bolivar Jr., 31, of Barangay Tabigue was collared in the said village after he allegedly yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing 3.6 grams worth P43, 200, the P500 marked money, and P1, 000 boodle money.

Bolivar is a high-value target and an alleged member of Divinagracia drug group.

In Binalbagan town, Mark Buenafe, 30, of Barangay Canmoros, a drug surrenderer was arrested in the said village which resulted to a confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu worth P1, 500, the P300 marked money, three lighters, and a cellular phone.
