3 Caraga cops receive ‘Medalya ng Papuri’

THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Caraga has recognized three police personnel who performed “good deeds” while deployed as security personnel for the Undas 2018.

The awardees were Senior Police Officer (SPO) 4 Patricio Subibi, Jr. who assisted a paraplegic woman at Maitum Public Cemetery, San Fernando, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur; Police Officer (PO) 3 Ginalyn Susi who carried in her arms a person with disability from the parking area to the police assistance desk at Prosperidad, Public Cemetery, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur; and SPO3 Jose Conales, Jr. who served as the assistant overall supervisor of Surigao del Norte Provincial Mobile Force during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

They received “Medalya ng Papuri” or the Philippine National Police Commendation Medal for doing the extra mile in the performance of duties.

A social media user took notice of the good deed done by PO3 Susi. The post went viral has now garnered thousands of shares and likes.

“Their simple acts of kindness are beyond ordinary policing works that deserve recognition and appreciation,” PRO-Caraga director Chief Superintendent Gilberto DC Cruz said.

“We give awards not only to those who become part of successful police operations but also to those whose good deeds bring pride to the Philippine National Police,” he added.
