SINCE the launching of Oplan Dabaw Kalinaw last September, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-Davao recorded 8,773 accomplishments for over a month of its implementation.
Police Inspector Ervin Keith Urbiztondo, Police Community Relations of RMFB-Davao, said the figure covers all operations in different cities where they launched the Oplan Dabaw Kalinaw or the comprehensive inter-agency campaign in combating terrorism, criminality, and insurgency.
This includes Tagum City, Nabunturan, Digos City and Davao City.
Without going into details, he said that these accomplishments include enforcement of local ordinances, law enforcement and apprehension of criminals and violators.
In Davao City alone, they have a total of 2,907 total accomplishments.
For law enforcement conducted by RMFB 11 alone, a total of 4,824 accomplishments were recorded as of October 2018. Most of these were the issuance of citation tickets for traffic violation pegged at 3,630.
RMFB-Davao also conducted 20 anti-illegal drugs operations. On impounded vehicles, meanwhile, they apprehended a total of 755 motorcycles, four four-wheeled vehicles and 107 motorcycles with open pipes. (JCR)
