THE two-day 3rd Philippine Eagle Team Championship Triathlon resumes today with the sprint and Olympic races at Villa Josefina Resort Village in Dumoy, Toril on Sunday, November 11.
Davao organizer Stax Savellano said the kids and novice categories were held on Saturday. The novice event drew 13 participants while the kids categories attracted 72.
The kids age brackets included four to six years old, seven to nine, 10 to 12 and 13-15.
He also said presidential son-in-law Mans Carpio, lawyer husband of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, will join Sunday's relay category that has a total of 17 teams.
“The sprint and Olympic events have 63 and 53 entries, respectively,” he said via Facebook.
The sprint category will cover 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and 5K run while the Olympic distance features 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run.
