All locally made

LAST November 3, 2018, Mocha Events Productions launched its Mercado Locale at the newly opened Gaisano Grand Citygate in Buhangin, Davao City.

Those living within the Cabantian and Indangan areas will now be able to also enjoy products made and sold by homegrown small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Jette Angela Villafuerte, organizer of Mercado Locale and owner of Mocha Events Productions, said through the Marcado Locale they hope to be a venue for local SMEs to showcase their products to the general public.

With around 20 exhibitors, visitors at Mercado Locale can expect a range of locally made products from food, clothes, frozen goods, drinks, and pasalubong items, among others.

Among the exhibitors include Aloha Palamigan, Salted Egg Potato Chips, Wow Lechon, Yema Cake, Siaton Siomai, Yosuke Ramen, Japoy's Pastil, Don Enriquez Pizza, Sitsirya Sari-sari, and Viva La ChiCha.

Some of the food that I recommend you try is Japoy's Pastil and Viva La ChiCha's ribs. Both were really good.

One of the unique products that you can find here is the do it your own ramen of Yosuke Ramen. A box of their ramen includes a ramen paste, ramen noodles, nori strip, and garnishing. The box also comes with instructions.

For a refreshing drink, be sure to check out Aloha Palamigan.
