A FIRE razed at least 40 houses on Sunday morning, November 11, in sitios Paradise and Kitchen in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

This was the second time the village was hit by a blaze this year. Last March 16, two children died and 400 houses in the fire.

In the blaze that hit Paradise and Kitchen, the fire reportedly started in an abandoned house where suspected illegal drug users sniffed shabu.

Lapu-Lapu City Fire Station received the alarm at 9:30 a.m. Firefighters controlled the flames to other houses 31 minutes after.

No one died or was hurt during the incident. (KAL)
