CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- SM City Pampanga joined various SM Supermalls all over the country in the grand unveiling and lighting of its Christmas centerpiece drawing inspiration from children’s tea party.

The grand launching and ceremonial lighting was held at the mall’s newest Global Fashion Wing with mall manager Junias Eusebio and Mexico Mayor Teddy Tumang in attendance. Also present during the event were some 30 children from the Autism Society of the Philippines-Pampanga Chapter.

Eusebio said that the yearly event of lighting Christmas centerpieces is the mall’s way of bringing mall goers and shoppers together in starting the celebration of the Yuletide Season. The centerpiece features a tall Christmas tree shaped into tea cookies as well as other tea party decors fitted into a Christmas-themed installation.

The photo-worthy centerpiece is open to mall goers for group pictures and selfies.

“As we dedicate this season to children, and to family, we invite everyone to help make children feel the spirit and understand the true meaning of Christmas and help make it last forever,” Eusebio said.

The event also featured the gift-giving done by SM City Pampanga for the children with autism.

Tumang added that the event aims to give mallgoers a different Christmas experience when visiting the mall, adding that SM aims to create a unique Christmas experience for young mall goers.

Rain Cervantes, public relations manager of SM City Pampanga, said the event aims to give mallgoers a different Christmas experience.
