MORE than 1,000 employees of the City of the Bacolod will get a cash gift and a year-end bonus starting November 15.
City Treasurer Giovanni Balalilhe said Monday, November 12, that the mandatory release of the year-end bonus should not be earlier than November 15.
He said they are now accepting the payroll, which will be encoded to their individual accounts so they can release the bonuses.
The employees will get P5,000 cash gift and a year-end bonus which is equivalent to their one-month basic salary.
Balalilhe said those who already completed their payroll can get their bonuses on November 15.
Only the regular employees and plantilla casuals could avail the bonuses.
In May, the city employees have already received their mid-year bonus.
Balalilhe said he is not sure if the employees will receive another bonus in December.
He said only the city mayor can make an announcement if the employees will receive another bonus in December as it will depend on the performance of the city government or the awards it received.
“We should comply the requirements first to determine that we have a capacity and qualify to give a bonus in December,” he added. (MAP)
