IT HAS been revealed that the miracle baby for former Miss Universe First Runner up and beauty queen actress/host is a boy! Her husband, businessman, author and speaker Ardy Roberto had wanted a baby boy so he could play 3 on 3 basketball with their elder son Josh and it seems like he will get his wish.
In a gender reveal party made by their sister Susan, they had to crack raw eggs to reveal if it is a boy or a girl. After many funny practice cracks, the final serious egg cracking revealed if it was a boy or a girl. A raw egg would signify which gender the baby is. On the last part they were given a blue colored egg and reddish pink colored egg and they cracked it on their foreheads -- the blue colored egg was the raw one therefore the baby is a boy.
Miriam, who at age 43, conceived through natural methods. They have already tried IVF before and it did not work and was about to have her eggs harvested 5 months back when they had a tumor scare. Therefore their doctors advised that they don’t do egg harvesting first before tests are done to determine the tumor. Turns out the tumor is nothing that they should be worried about. Miriam missed her menstrual period and the doctor even mentioned that it could be pre-menopausal symptoms which all the more worried the couple. They are ready for a baby. Ardy asked Miriam to take a pregnancy test instead. And when they did it showed that she was pregnant! You can just imagine the joy of the couple. Miriam had called me to tell me the news and how God's plan is really mysterious. There was a tumor scare to prevent them from having to harvest her eggs for another IVF procedure as they were going to be given a baby conceived by natural methods.
The couple is convinced of God's faithfulness to His promise to them and will continue to advocate about Him in the days to come. In the meantime, Miriam is ordered to a bed rest as her blood sugar is high.
