THE Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC)-Davao United and Irrigators FC of Tagum pulled off wins in the recent resumption of the 7's Football League Davao at the Azuela Cove Football Pitch in Lanang, Davao City.
RMC-Davao United crushed Dolores FC of Nabunturan, 9-3, behind the heroics of Carlo Chavez who netted four goals in the 14th, 26th, 32nd and 44th minutes. His teammates Ed Walohan, Ryan Hermida, Jed Valled, Vincent Gonzalez and Behud Gulo added one goal each.
Irrigators FC, for its part, edged Solido-JT's Manukan, 5-4, via shootout. Both teams were tied, 1-all, at the end of regulation. Bern Manique scored in the 12th minute for Irrigators after Solido's Weng Flores knocked in a goal in the ninth.
In the shootout, however, Arnel Casil, Alexis Cabistante, Manuel Aspelliga and Rafael Toulago of Irrigators each secured a goal as against three Solido scorers Jason Ibañez, Renuae Bangi and Clifford Dacera.
The Crocs FC-RMC Alumni, meanwhile, edged Sultan FC, 4-3, with goals courtesy of Warren Ravanes, Gregorio Zamora, Archimedes Lagaray and Oniel Padernal.
Sultan FC of Maguindanao leaned on Mujer Sumail's brace and goal of Joseph Arenas.
The 7-A-Side bootfest is presented by Anton del Rosario in partnership with Sparcorp and the Davao South-Regional Football Association.
