CHRISTMAS in SM Lanang Premier this year is all about finding love and joy in giving. This is expressed gleefully last November 8 when the mall lit up the bright lights of its 57-foot indoor Christmas tree.
Decked in red, gold and white, the holiday installation stands tall and makes a joyful reminder to give back to the community this holiday season. The tree is adorned with glittering Christmas balls, snowflakes, energy efficient Christmas lights, upcycled twigs, and retro inspired letter installations.
Leading the meaningful celebration was YouTube sensation and performing artist Janina Vela. She said she feels joyful every time she gives thoughtful gifts this Christmas.
Joining the merrymaking are performers from Muzic's Kool: PSquare, Champ Burgos, Y-FI (Young Filipinos), and Gleetery.
The celebration also brought the mall closer to the community through gift giving to children from orphanage Balay Paginhawaan and rescued kids under the care of the Davao City Social Services and Development Office’s Quick Response Team. Two dozens of kids received gifts from SM Lanang Premier’s mall tenants and plushies from the SM Bears of Joy.
