THE Aboitiz Group, represented by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. chief technology officer and Aboitiz Integrated Management System Steering Committee chairman Hoton Elicano, officially received its ISO 9001:2015 certification from Femelyn Lati, TUV Sud PSB Philippines Inc. general manager in the turnover ceremony last Nov. 9. It was simultaneously held at the Aboitiz Corporate Centers in Bonifacio Global City and Cebu City. This reflects the Aboitiz Group’s outstanding quality management system that highlights improved customer focus and operational excellence. “We did not pursue this certification only because of compliance but also because this is how we do things in Aboitiz. It is important that we recognize its value to make us more organized and thereby able to meet stakeholder, legal and statutory requirements and mitigate quality-related risks in our operations,” Elicano said.
