"WHAT'S wrong with my nap?" President Rodrigo Duterte posed the question on Thursday, November 15, a day after skipping four events of the 33rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit and Related Summits in Singapore.

Duterte said he had to skip four Asean engagements on Wednesday, November 15, to take a "nap" that would give him the "endurance" to attend all the regional bloc's scheduled meetings on Thursday, the third and last day of the annual summit.

"[My nap was even] still not good enough, but enough to sustain the endurance for the last day's [engagements]. Why?" the President told reporters in Singapore.

"What's wrong with my nap? You know, I don't eat. I don't eat breakfast and I'm sure you do know that," he added, before gracing the first Asean event on the last day of the summit.
