THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Caraga has topped the Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE) among the 17 police regional offices nationwide for October 2018.
The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division has recorded a total of 802 crime volume comprised of 150 index crimes and 652 non-index crimes from October 1-31, 2018.
Out of 802 crime volume, 690 crime incidents were solved by the police units that marked a CSE of 86.03 percent.
Next to the Caraga police is the National Capital Region Police Office with 81.82 percent, followed by the Davao regional police office with 76.63 percent holding the third spot.
Chief Superintendent Gilberto DC Cruz thanked the community, other law enforcement agencies and all stakeholders that contributed in the crime solving efforts of the police force.
“This is another feat that every PNP personnel and Caraganon should be proud of. We hope to sustain these gains in the following months,” he added.
CSE is the percentage of solved cases out of the total number of crime incidents handled by the PNP for a given period of time.
